Lands’ End Refocuses on Customers, Reduces Inventory, and Grows its Licensing Partnerships

The brand’s executives hinted that it’s targeting L.L.Bean’s market share with its tote bags – although CEO Andrew McLean didn’t explicitly name the brand onstage at ICR Conference.

Lands’ End is refocusing its business on the customer, reducing inventory to drive more full-price sales, shifting its kids’ and footwear products to a licensing model, and taking aim at an unnamed retailer that we can only assume is L.L.Bean.
