Rough Q2 for Tilly’s as Inflation Bites

Important industry customer Tilly's is not immune to the slowdown in spending happening at some retailers that cater to younger shoppers. They are also seeing a major dropoff in markets where back-to-school shopping is over.

Like many other retailers, Tilly’s believes the impact of inflation on young consumers coupled with record sales last year led to weak results in Q2 this year and a tempered forecast for Q3.
