Brian White has joined Ridge, the family owned and bootstrapped brand behind the Ridge Wallet, hardshell luggage and a suite of tech accessories, as Senior Vice President of Global Wholesale. The company said it is on pace to top $200 million in digital revenue this year.

White will lead Ridge’s global wholesale business, expanding the brand’s presence across premium retail, strategic partnerships and the industry’s most influential accounts, as the company looks to convert its online brand awareness into physical retail traction.

“Ridge has never followed the traditional playbook,” the company said in a statement. “We built this brand online, product first. Wholesale is our next major opportunity. Brian is exactly the kind of leader we wanted driving it. He has spent his career building premium brands and winning with the best retailers in the world.”

White brings decades of leadership experience across premium accessories, lifestyle brands and global commerce, including senior commercial roles at Nixon and Herschel Supply Co. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Brixton.

“I was drawn to Ridge because it has all the ingredients of a modern global brand,” White said in a statement. “The product category is strong, the innovation across wallets and technology is real, and the performance marketing capabilities are world class. The opportunity now is to translate that demand into a best in class wholesale business.”

White pointed to Ridge’s roster of brand partners, including Chief Creative Partner Marques Brownlee and Tony Hawk, as a key part of the brand’s appeal. “That combination of product credibility, cultural relevance and authentic storytelling is difficult to replicate,” he said in a statement.

Ridge was founded in 2013 by father and son team Daniel and Paul Kane. What began with the original patented Ridge Wallet has grown into a broader collection of everyday essentials spanning wallets, key cases, wedding bands, luggage and tech accessories.
