Chris Bernard, the longtime Burton sales rep who covers the West Coast from Alaska to San Diego, has resigned and is exiting the company.
Chris’s last day in the role will be Oct. 15th.
“After nearly 15 years with the brand I am ready for a change and evolution of my business.
“Reflecting on these years spent with the best in the business, I look back on some of the best times in my life, filled with some amazing milestones and accomplishments with the brand.
“While difficult to take this next step, I feel I leave behind a company that is in a great position with some very exciting things on the horizon.
“I thank Jake and Donna for the opportunity and partnership these many years, and wish Burton only the best moving forward.”
I asked Burton who will handle the region going forward and about Chris’s departure, and they sent the following statement.
“As a long-time member of the Burton family, we wish Chris and his family all the best as he moves on to seek new opportunities,” said Elysa Walk, Burton GM for the U.S. “The Burton Sales Management team is working on an exciting new sales plan for the region to be revealed in the coming weeks.”
