Goodr, the colorful sunglass brand that outdoor retailers tell SESO sells “like crazy,” has named Pepe Landa director of global sales and marketing. In the role, Landa will work with the Inglewood, California-based active eyewear brand’s existing international distributors to strengthen the brand’s current global presence while identifying and strategy-mapping potential new markets.
Landa joins goodr after more than three years at On, where he served as head of sales for Latin America. During his tenure, he managed Latin American market distributors, oversaw Brazil as a direct market, and led the brand’s direct expansion into Mexico.
“Working alongside an incredible team, we were able to turn the territory into one of the fastest-growing regions for the company,” Landa told SESO.
Prior to On, Landa held the role of director of international business for Latin America at Boardriders and served as international sales manager for Latin America at Primitive Skateboarding. He also spent more than nine years at Rip Curl, including a stint as North America footwear sales manager.
Kelley Puckett, chief marketing officer at goodr, said Landa’s background made him a strong fit for the brand’s international ambitions.
“We’re beyond excited to have Pepe join goodr,” Puckett said in a statement. “He brings a rare combination of global expertise, strategic leadership, and a true passion for the outdoors, making him a great fit for our team. As we continue to grow internationally, Pepe is exactly the kind of leader who will help us scale while staying true to what makes goodr, goodr.”
