The 2026 Quiksilver Festival by Swatch concluded Sept. 27 after nine days of surf, skate, music, and art in the Landes region of southwest France. According to organizers, more than 55,000 people attended. The festival launched in 2023 and takes place each September.
Music: This year’s festival included a collaboration with French label Ed Banger. Label founder Pedro Winter curated the lineup, which ran across three stages in Hossegor, Capbreton and Seignosse, according to organizers. Performers included MYD, Breakbot, Alexsucks, Rebequita, and Kokoprisci.
Surf: The event brought together male and female surfers and was hosted by Jérémy Florès. Participants included Olympic gold medalist Kauli Vaast, 2025 WSL Championship Tour Rookie of the Year Marco Mignot, and actor Taz Sklyar. After five days of competition, according to organizers, Hughie Vaughan and Kash Brown of Australia took first place at La Nord in Hossegor. Local surfers Noa Dupouy, Sam Piter ,and Kyllian Guérin placed second, followed by Eithan Osborne and Parker Coffin of the U.S.
Skate and bike: Events included Vincent Milou’s Cash for Tricks and Swatch’s Playground Unleashed, held across Hossegor, Capbreton, and Seignosse. Riders including Milou, Matthias Dandois, Sam Pilgrim, and Sky Brown took part. According to organizers, crowds reached up to 2,000 at a single skatepark, and participants included riders as young as six years old.
Art: French artist So Me, Ed Banger’s creative director, designed the festival’s visual identity in magenta and yellow. It appeared on stage wraps at Place des Landais, as well as on trophies, jerseys, posters, cups, apparel, and other merchandise.
The festival was supported by Swatch, Oatly, Sosh, Ouigo, Sunbum, Groupe Clim, Enedis, Carlbreak, le Surfing, Deezer, Europe 2, the towns of Capbreton, Hossegor, and Seignosse, and the French Surfing Federation.
