Trade association Snowsports Industries America (SIA) added four new board members to its board of directors.
The new members are:
- Gary Fleming, president and CEO of Winter Sports Retailers, who has expertise in building businesses, optimizing organizations, leading companies through turnarounds, and using data to drive decisions.
- Sergio Kiehl, president and CEO of Fischer Sports USA, who brings an international perspective to the board. He previously held roles at DPS Sks, Adidas, Reebok, Nike, and Puma.
- Helmut Holzer, director anticipation and advanced research at Atomic Austria, who is focused on innovation and sustainability. Holzer organized the first Ski Industry Climate Summit.
- Drew Saunders, general manager North America at Oberalp Group, who has a strong background in sales operations, product management and team leadership in the ski and outdoor industries. Saunders oversaw growth at Dynafit and Pomoca, and has deep experience navigating international commerce.
“Innovation and evolution require fresh thinking and a willingness to challenge the status quo,” said Nick Sargent, SIA president, in a statement. “Gary, Sergio, Helmut, and Drew bring not only exceptional experience but also a diversity of ideas and insights drawn from their unique journeys in the industry. This will be critical as we strive to meet the needs of a changing marketplace and an increasingly diverse consumer base.”
