Vuori has appointed its first chief product officer, Heather Archibald, a former executive at Rothy’s.

Archibald will oversee the California-based company’s product portfolio from design and development to merchandising, raw material planning, production and sourcing strategy, according to a news release.

“This is an exciting moment for Vuori as we continue to build on our strong momentum and invest in the capabilities that will carry us forward,” said Vuori founder and CEO Joe Kudla in a statement. “With Heather joining the brand, we’re reinforcing our commitment to a product-first approach — deepening innovation, sharpening storytelling and assortments, and bringing even greater rigor to how we scale while maintaining a deep connection with our consumers.”

Archibald was most recently Rothy’s chief product and merchandising officer. She has also served as chief product officer at Title Nine as well as product and merchandising leadership roles at Restoration Hardware and Gap Inc.

“Vuori has built something truly distinctive at the intersection of covetable, high-quality product, its strong ‘Built to Move In. It’s an exciting time for us to continue elevating the product experience through innovation and grounded in our deep understanding of the consumer.”

Vuori was founded in 2015 in Encinitas, Calif. The company has most recently launched the HardKore performance short, men’s and women’s denim, Vuori snow and an expanded outwear collection.

Archibald will officially join Vuori on April 20.
