Hermosa Beach, CA – HippyTree recently celebrated the launch of its bag collaboration with Jansport called the Westward Collection. Live music, free tacos and King Harbor Brew beer were enjoyed at two iconic Southern California retailers earlier this month.
HippyTree kicked off the festivities at Spyder Surf Shop in its hometown of Hermosa Beach. Fittingly, Spyder was the first account to stock HippyTree product almost ten years ago. Tribesman Hudson Ritchie and his dad Tom entertained the crowd with live music and Project Taco served up some local fare. The following afternoon HippyTree headed down south to SEED People’s Market in Costa Mesa. The talented Kira Lingman brought her guitar and provided tunes throughout the afternoon, while Taco Asylum dished out some killer carnitas and carne asada.
The HippyTree x Jansport Westward Collection packs are available at hippytree.com and premium surf and outdoor shops across the country. To view the collection and see more photos from the launch parties, visit hippytree.com.
