Cabot Hosiery Mills, an American manufacturer of performance outdoor and lifestyle socks, today announced the appointment of David Steel as Vice President of Product & Innovation. Hailing from the UK, Steel brings extensive experience in design, creativity and innovation to the role, having previously worked with prominent brands such as Under Armour, Adidas and Reebok. Steel will oversee the product journey from the ideation process to prototype to then bringing the product to final market launch.
As a member of the leadership team, Steel will lead long-term direction for the brand with a focus on product development, innovation and design.

Prior to joining Cabot Hosiery Mills, Steel served as Senior Design Director of Outdoor Apparel & Footwear at Under Armour where he bridged the gap between business objectives and design execution. He also held Design Director roles at Adidas and Reebok.
Steel holds degrees from Liverpool John Moore University and resides just outside of Boston with his wife and two children. Ramapo College of New Jersey and the University of Arizona and resides in New York City with his wife and four children.
