Mountain Hardwear, a leader in performance outdoor apparel and equipment, today announced the launch of a new apparel collection. This special Earth Day drop features unique Leave No Trace artwork on a range of t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts, created in collaboration with the acclaimed Brooklyn-based design studio, Extra Vitamins.
This collection marks a compelling intersection of outdoor culture, streetwear aesthetics, and environmental ethos. The artwork, conceived by Extra Vitamins’ founders Julia Belamarich and Kyle Warfield, draws inspiration from the intricate beauty of natural textures found in rock formations and forest ecosystems – a nod to their shared passion for climbing and the outdoors.
The collaboration with Extra Vitamins was born out of Mountain Hardwear’s ongoing partnership with Leave No Trace, the leading non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the outdoors by teaching and inspiring people to enjoy it responsibly. As the proud recipient of Leave No Trace’s 2024 Corporate Partner of the Year award, Mountain Hardwear is committed to furthering the organization’s vital mission of ensuring a sustainable future for our cherished wild places. This collection expresses that commitment, raising awareness and inspiring mindful interaction with nature.
“We are thrilled to partner with Extra Vitamins to bring an artistic perspective to our partnership with Leave No Trace in this new collection,” said Matt Burbach, Vice President of Marketing at Mountain Hardwear. “This Earth Day launch is particularly meaningful to us, given our brand mission to ‘Seek Wilder Paths.’ The Leave No Trace principles are vital in keeping those paths wild.”
“This collaboration with Mountain Hardwear and Extra Vitamins is more than just a product line; it’s a creative call to action,” said Dana Watts, Executive Director of Leave No Trace. “By blending purposeful design, sustainable values, and a shared love for the outdoors, we’re inviting people to protect the wild places we all depend on.”
The Mountain Hardwear x Extra Vitamins collection is available for purchase now.
