Responsible outdoor clothing brand Passenger is heading further up the mountain with its launch of Snowscape, a limited capsule collection of snow outerwear. Responsibly designed, the collection is made from recycled materials and is PFC-free.

The Snowscape collection features a limited run of ski jackets (£194.95), anoraks (£199.95) bibs (£194.95) and pants (£174.95) for men and women, designed by Passenger’s in-house snowsport experts. Made from responsibly sourced materials like recycled polyester and recycled nylon, the collection has all the features a seasoned skier or snowboarder would expect, such as fully seam-sealed, snow skirts, lift pass pockets, internal zip and stash pockets, and ventilation.

Tapping into its community of snow-goers and listening to feedback about pain points in snow gear, Passenger has designed the Snowscape collection to be attainable without compromising on performance technical features and its longstanding commitment to responsible manufacturing.

Passenger’s chief product officer, Paul Anderton, said, “We know our community of Roamers is returning to the mountains each year from November to May in alpine epicentres such as the Alps, Scottish Highlands, and the Rockies to find escapism in the snow. Our capsule Snowscape collection allows Passenger to join them on that journey; it’s something they’ve been asking us for.

“We’ve circled in on a product set to suit our customers’ wants and needs while addressing common pain points they have when searching for snow gear. Nothing’s overcomplicated, instead, it’s responsibly designed utilising recycled materials and PFC-free DWR, and in keeping with our classic look and feel. But we know there’s an expectation for snow essentials here; a lift pass pocket, snow skirt, gaiter, etc. – all the stuff our community is well accustomed to.”

Jon Lane CEO added, “In common with many in our wider community, we’re a team full of lifelong snow lovers. Having seen Passenger gear already on the mountain, it’s great to now be able to introduce this snow collection. It’s something our community has been asking us for and it’s a natural step for us as we go further up the mountain and enable more people to find their meaningful escapism in the snow.”

Snowscape is designed to layer on top of Passenger’s existing Outdoor Active winter offering of responsibly sourced down and synthetic insulation, Polartec mid-layer technical fleece, and moisture-wicking base layers.
