This March, Patagonia will visit four iconic mountain towns in California, Wyoming, Utah, and British Columbia - bringing free community events, gear repairs, and activations to support Protect Our Winters.
Published: January 14, 2026 Press Release

This March, Patagonia is hitting the road for a grassroots snow tour through four of North America’s most beloved mountain towns, bringing together skiers, snowboarders, and the local snow community for a series of community-driven events, including gear repairs. Focused on the soulful side of freeskiing and snowboarding, the tour will stop in Lake Tahoe, CA; Salt Lake City, UT; Jackson Hole, WY; and Revelstoke, BC.

At each stop, Patagonia’s ski and snowboard ambassadors will be in town to connect with the local community, sharing stories, teaching classes, hosting workshops, leading on-mountain party laps and group rides, and hanging out on and off the hill. Attendees can also take advantage of gear repairs from Patagonia’s expert Worn Wear repair team and their beloved mobile repair trailer. Pop-up brand activations, giveaways, and swap events can be expected throughout the weekend.

Most daytime events are free and open to the public, with select evening events available for a small entry fee. All evening event proceeds will be donated to POW, a nonprofit dedicated to the protection of winter environments through climate advocacy. Local NGOs will also be present at each location.

Each tour stop will feature an Ambassador Storytelling Night, where athletes share personal stories from the mountains, along with film screenings, workshops, and community gatherings that reflect the heart of the sport beyond competition.

“This tour is about bringing people together in the places that have shaped freeskiing and snowboarding culture,” says Jenna Johnson, Patagonia President. “It’s grassroots, it’s community-focused, and it’s about celebrating the connections between people, mountains, and the environments we love.”
