This limited-edition release marks a rare convergence of craftsmanship, legacy, and lifestyle. Designed specifically for Rob Machado’s everyday routine to his local beaches and his family adventures to the mountains, the Rogue Wave is more than just a high-end vehicle, it’s a tribute to surf culture, sustainability, and creative innovation. Only 10 of these bespoke vans will be produced, each offering fans the chance to own a true piece of who Rob is.
Rob’s fans know and love his legendary “Creeper Van” – an old, beat-up surf rig from the ’80s that’s become a symbol of his surf-every-day philosophy. This new custom Sprinter honors the heart of the Creeper. “The Creeper has been a part of my everyday routine for years; it’s got so much character,” says Rob Machado. “But working with Rogue to build the Rogue Wave gave me a chance to create something that still feels like me, just elevated. Every detail was designed to support my family’s lifestyle of surfing, traveling, and our daily ventures around town. It’s like the soul of the Creeper in a whole new body.”
From the ground up, every element of the Rogue Wave was shaped by Rob’s personal input and Rogue’s design ethos of innovation over imitation.

- Modular Smart Floor (L-Track System) – With a fully removable galley (fridge + sink combo) and configurable seating, Rob can shift from solo surf missions to family beach days with ease.
- Chilewich Interior Surfaces – Durable, versatile, and easy-to-clean materials throughout, ideal for wet and sandy environments.
- Custom Board Storage – Built under the bed to store up to 6 surfboards or snowboards, keeping gear organized and out of the way.
- Rear Shower Deck – A reimagined Deck’d gear carrier functions as a built-in outdoor shower platform, perfect for post-surf clean-ups.
- Wetsuit Drying Box – A modified Alpine Box by Owl Vans includes a fan-driven wetsuit drying system, keeping gear fresh and functional.
- Each van comes with a handcrafted Rob Machado Designs surfboard shaped by Rob himself and an exclusive invite to a private surf trip with Rob Machado once all 10 vans are sold.
