Whether you’re scrambling to an alpine ridge, charging up a steep trail, or traversing mixed routes, this shoe is built to go the distance without compromise.
At just 380 grams per shoe (UK size 8) with a 10mm drop, the Wildfire NXT MID GTX offers the ideal blend of agility and support. The upper is crafted from Matryx® high-tenacity nylon reinforced with ripstop PE and protected by a TPU rand, offering durability without bulk. Salewa’s 3F System stabilizes the heel and lateral zones while maintaining flexibility and comfort, and a nylon elastic gaiter keeps debris out on rugged trails.
Inside, the shoe features GORE-TEX Phoenix lining with a PFAS-free ePE membrane, delivering breathable waterproof protection with reduced environmental impact. Underfoot, the Vibram® All-Terrain Megagrip outsole ensures secure traction in wet or dry conditions, and the C.F.F. PRO footbed provides dependable comfort and stability on long approaches or rapid descents.
