World Surf League and mophie Extend Partnership in 2026

Mophie set to continue as official portable charger of three CT events in 2026.

The World Surf League (WSL) has today announced the continuation of its partnership with mophie for the 2026 season. mophie will return as the ‘Official Portable Charger’ for events in Tahiti, the Gold Coast, and Bells Beach, with its impressive team of World Champions.

“WSL looks forward to continuing and expanding our partnership with mophie in 2026,” said WSL APAC President Andrew Stark. “The brand’s passion for surf, coupled with their products’ practical application across our events, makes this partnership such a strong one. It’s amazing to see them continue to grow their investment not only in events but in some of the best up-and-coming talent in world surfing. WSL thanks the team at mophie for their ongoing support.”

mophie is proud to continue its support of elite Australian talent in 2026. Reigning WSL World Champion Molly Picklum returns to the team alongside fellow long-standing mophie athletes: 2023 World Junior Champion Sierra Kerr and reigning World Junior Champion Dane Henry . Joining these three talents under the mophie banner is indicative of their commitment to performance in professional sports.

Along with their expanded team, mophie’s WSL partnership will continue the broadcast integration ‘mophie Charger of The Event,’ spotlighting the most courageous surfer at the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, the Tahiti Pro, and the Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro. The commentary host set at the Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro will be “Powered by mophie,” with integrated commentator call-outs and branding throughout host-set content.

mophie will deploy charging stations across all VIP and Athlete areas, including VIP and Athlete boats in Tahiti, ensuring athletes, staff, and partners stay connected throughout each event.
