Zamberlan, the third-generation handcrafted Italian bootmaker, announces the hiring of industry veteran Chris Rischke as Director of Operations. The addition of the Director of Operations role bolsters Zamberlan’s foundation and positions the brand to better serve its customers and support future growth initiatives.

Rischke got his start in the industry as the Director of Operations leading Oboz Footwear, growing margins and providing strategic oversight to build Oboz into a footwear market leader. From there, he led the Erem team as VP of Operations and Wholesale to grow and expand the sustainable footwear business.
“We’re thrilled to add Chris to the team with the addition of this Director of Operations role,” said Bob Whip, General Manager of Zamberlan USA. “With this hire, we’re building additional infrastructure and foundational strength at Zamberlan by adding an industry professional to our team.”
Rischke joins the brand following the appointment of Whip as Zamberlan USA’s new General Manager last month.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the Zamberlan team at this pivotal time in the brand’s history,” said Rischke. “The quality, performance and comfort of the Zamberlan product is unmatched, and I look forward to driving us toward our growth and business optimization goals.”
